  4. I wrote JMOUSE because I wanted to use my joystick to play
  5. the game *Creature Shock.
  6.  
  7. JMOUSE is a TSR that patches into your existing mouse driver and makes
  8. the joystick simulate mouse movement and mouse buttons 1 & 2 presses.
  9.  
  10. You must load your mouse driver before loading JMOUSE.  (Actually, JMOUSE
  11. will end in an error display if you don't have your mouse driver loaded 
  12. prior to running it.)

  14. After playing *Creature Shock with the JMOUSE driver, I found it was 
  15. benefical to be able to increase and decrease the sensitivity of the mouse 
  16. for the various levels of the game.  Therefore, I added sensitivity support 
  17. to the driver.

  19. Once JMOUSE is loaded, you can press F1 thru F4 at any time to change the
  20. driver's sensitivity level.  A list of each key's settings follows:

  22.     F1 - Normal sensitivity (Default)
  23.     F2 - Double sensitivity
  24.     F3 - Triple sensitivity
  25.     F4 - Quadruple sensitivity

  27. Included in the archive file is a program called TESTJM.EXE.
  28. After loading JMOUSE.COM, you can use this program to test the JMOUSE
  29. driver.

  31. Once loaded, the JMOUSE.COM cannot be removed from memory unless you
  32. reboot your computer.

  34. I am currently working on an updated version for my Gravis Gamepad (or any
  35. 4 button joystick for that matter) that will use button 3 to simulate the
  36. space bar and button 4 to simulate the 'P' key.  (This will allow you to use
  37. smart bombs in and pause the *Creature Shock game without touching the
  38. keyboard.)
